Two of the ‘go-to’ companies in the Hollywood production industry have joined forces offering the best of Broadcast and Video Display support. The merger brings a new level of support to the industry allowing clients to have a single stop for both High Definition or Standard Definition camera production and all types of video display technology.

Bob Kaufmann states, “This merger is what we have been looking for to be able to get our new truck, Legacy, in the forefront of the Hollywood production industry. With 12 Sony HD1500 cameras on hand, we are set to handle a wide variety of shows. While we all look forward to new associations and challenges, I remain firmly committed to relationships established over the past 35 years at Video One.”

Alan Barber adds, “Our company overall, now has the ability to offer our 6 camera HD truck, our 12 camera HD truck and all the video displays we have worked with in the past. We have been supporting around 100 television shows per year for the past few years now. We are very excited to be able to offer our clients this new level of expertise.”

As part of the merger, Glenn Hazlett will remain as the EIC onboard Legacy. This also brings a level of comfort to clients who have become accustomed to seeing Glenn ensuring the success of the truck’s performance. The company will soon be situated up at Background Images’ new Valencia facility.
